this is basically just the lore of my wips so... enjoy!
please note this isn't even close to being done <33
backgroundthousands of years before the planets existed, there was a planet called nite (nii-e). there were no plants, no animals, hardly any water, and everyone was turning on each other. the goddesses decided it would be a good idea to restart everything. so, they took the creatures that were living there and put them on the new planets, turning them into flowers. they made four planets and gave them specific abilities in hopes the creatures that lived there would have a better chance of surviving.
elves
elvestheir home planet is osadria but due to certain wars, they spread to other planets so they would have a better chance at survival. among all the creatures, elves are one of the most powerful and agile. unlike humans, they don’t get as hungry and don’t have to eat as much so in osadria there are less restaurants and lunch doesn’t exist. elves are the only ones normally seen with markings on their body due to a cultural tradition. the markings vary depending on where in osadria they originate from, the colors, the placement, and the different symbols all depend on where they come from. there are a lot of different skin colors and sometimes an elf can have spots on them.high-class elves
high elves are more powerful than any other elf. they have a higher chance at getting into magical schools or jobs involving magic. you can typically tell if someone is a high elf if they have a lot of visible markings on their body. their body allows them to collect more souls and gain more power because of the souls they collected. however, high-class elves have grown increasingly rare as time passed.middle-class elves
they're similar to both low-class elves in the way their body doesn't allow them to do the same stuff high-class elves do. they're still powerful but their power is limitedlow-class elves
low elves can’t do a lot, they have the same magical abilities a high elf does but a lot more restrictions. sometimes, a low elf’s body rejects the magic all together, and using it could make them sick. they’re typically forced to get normal jobs that don’t require magic due to the fact not a lot of places want them.
elf historyelves lived in peace with each other for a long time until one of them found a way to earth. both humans and elves thought that since there was no reason to fight, they could help each other. humans helped elves advance by a lot and animals were brought over to trade. as time went on less people started to like elves and they found it strange that they had all the magic while the humans had none. and of course, humans being humans, a war broke out.during the war, the higher ups needed to figure out who was suit for battle and who would be a complete waste of time. so, they put together tests and would mark the strongest with more markings. they all had their different meanings, especially in the different worlds. that tradition never stopped since it was so useful so once an elf turns sixteen, they battle and take a test to see how powerful they are.if an elf passed the test and moved up the ranks, they were given a special sword made out of whatever ability they had and it was specially made so only they could use it. if someone else besides the elf it was made for touched it, the blade would disappear and it would become only a handle. typically only elves with abilities you could physically see got swords such as, earth and plants, moon and sea, sun and stars, and weather and skythe war lasted for over seventy years before the elves decided close the portal for good. however, they didn't want their own to be trapped there so they left a small portal open-a stream that only elves could see and get through.although humans did hurt elves, they also helped them. they gave them a lot of technology and information which helped them build better cities and bridges between the worlds.
face stealers
face stealersIt’s pretty self-explanatory but face stealers are creatures that live in the ocean with tails similar to a mermaid. if they make contact with the hands of another living creature for more than fifteen seconds, they will turn into that creature and essentially steal its face. Most mermaids fear these creatures and try to avoid anything that looks like them at all costs. without a face they can only live up to six years due to the fact they can’t breathe or eat. they don’t eat as much as normal creatures and they only need their gills to “breathe” underwater. when in contact with another face stealer, they won’t steal the face no matter how much it comes in contact with it since a face can only be stolen once.
